Tata Power (NSE:TATAPOWER, BOM:500400) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to evaluate financing worth $4.25 billion for the power producer's strategic projects, according to a Thursday filing to the stock exchanges.
The MOU entails evaluating financing for several key ongoing projects, such as the 966-MW solar wind hybrid project, pumped hydro storage project, and other projects in the pipeline around energy transition decarbonization, and battery storage.
It also covers ongoing financing for capex to strengthen the distribution networks.
Shares of the company were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
