Gentherm appointed Jonathan Douyard chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

Douyard has 25 years of global finance experience and has served as CFO for The Shyft Group and Fluke, the company said Thursday. Prior to that he held finance leadership roles at United Technologies and General Electric.

Douyard, 45, was also named treasurer and succeeds Matteo Anversa, who resigned in September to join Logitech as CFO.

The Northville, Mich.-based maker of thermal management technologies said Douyard will receive a $600,000 annual base salary and an annual cash bonus beginning in 2025, with a target bonus of 80% of his annual base salary. He will also receive an equity award with an initial total grant value of $1.1 million in March 2025.

To make up for compensation he gave up from leaving his prior role at Shyft, Douyard will receive $1.3 million in cash and $2 million in restricted stock units, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

His appointment comes after Gentherm this month named William Presley its next chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1. Presley, who is the company's chief operating officer, will succeed current CEO Phillip Eyler.
