Elastic Fiscal Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Increase; Fiscal 2025 Guidance Revised -- Shares Surge After Hours

Elastic (ESTC) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $0.59 per diluted share, up from $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.38.

Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 was $365.4 million, up from $310.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $354.3 million.

The company said it expects Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.46 to $0.48 and revenue to be between $367 million and $369 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.41 and $366 million, respectively.

The company expects fiscal 2025 non-GAAP EPS to be between $1.68 and $1.72 on revenue of around $1.45 billion to $1.46 billion. The company previously expected non-GAAP EPS between $1.52 and $1.56 and revenue of $1.436 billion to $1.444 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.53 and $1.44 billion, respectively.

The company's shares were rising about 17% in after-hours activity.
