1536 ET - Procter & Gamble is using artificial intelligence to make ads quicker and for less money. The company's proprietary AI-application, dubbed the Great Ideas Generator, can develop ad concepts in minutes rather than in weeks, Chief Brand Officer Marc Pritchard says at the company's investor day. The application uses the company's past advertisements, in addition to aggregated customer reviews and sales data, to determine how to best sell new products. The company is working to expand its use of AI and media, Pritchard adds. This includes using AI to direct and edit commercials, resulting in weeks-less of work and labor. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
