Reddit (RDDT) users have experienced nearly 50,000 outages on Wednesday connected with the social media website since Tuesday afternoon, Downdetector reported, citing user input.

There is a total of 48,452 outages over the past 24 hours through 3 pm ET, with the reported problems split almost equally between website issues and problems using the Reddit app, Downdetector showed.

Just 1% of the user reports on Wednesday were tied to attempts to post to the Reddit website, according to Downdetector, which receives around 16 user reports about Reddit on a typical day.

Reddit did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment from MT Newswires Wednesday afternoon.
