IDEXX Laboratories' top finance executive, Brian McKeon, is retiring from the pet-healthcare company next year.
IDEXX on Thursday said Andrew Emerson, currently senior vice president, corporate and companion-animal group, will succeed as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the Westbrook, Maine, company on March 1.
IDEXX said McKeon, who has been in his current post since January 2014 after serving on the board for a decade, will remain as executive vice president and special adviser until he retires on June 1.
Emerson, 41 years old, joined IDEXX in November 2015 and was named a senior vice president earlier this year.
The company said Emerson will receive an annual base salary of $550,000 in his new post, along with an annual bonus with a target of 75% of his base pay.
