Thai Beverage's Beer Business Could Back Earnings Growth

Dow Jones11-29

Thai Beverage's beer business could be a key earnings growth driver for the company, RHB Singapore analyst Alfie Yeo writes in a report. The Singapore-listed beverage company's beer business has been doing well, seeing firmer demand in Vietnam and Thailand, Yeo says. The company's beer sales in Thailand are up due to warmer weather and tourism rebound, he adds. The recovery in the Vietnam market has been aided by factors like adding more sales points, he says. "We expect momentum to continue being driven by penetration of sales points and firmer tourism-led consumption into [fiscal 2025]." RHB maintains the stock's buy rating and target price of S$0.71. Shares are last at S$0.54. (amanda.lee@wsj.com)
