European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rising Monday

European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were advancing on Monday morning, up 0.5% to 1,324.76 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by semiconductor contract manufacturing company STMicroelectronics (STM) and Spanish bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), which rose 5.5% and 2.5%, respectively.

They were followed by Spanish bank Banco Santander (SAN), which added 2.3%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by Swedish food company Oatly (OTLY) and Norwegian energy company Equinor (EQNR), which fell 1.1% and 0.8%, respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Barinthus Biotherapeutics (BRNS) and biotech Compass Pathways (CMPS), which rose 5.1% and 4.1%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Amarin (AMRN) and clinical-stage cell therapy company TC Biopharm (TCBP), which were each shedding 2.2%.
