Yee Hop Holdings Logs 232% Higher Attributable Profit for Six Months to September

Yee Hop Holdings (HKG:1662) recorded a profit attributable to owners of HK$32.4 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, 231.5% higher than HK$9.8 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Earnings per share stood at HK$0.06 for the reporting period, compared with HK$0.02 recorded for the year-ago period.

The engineering and construction services company's revenue for the six months under review was HK$661.7 million, 70.9% higher than HK$387.2 million booked a year ago.

The company attributed the increase in revenue to an increase in revenue from its core business of the foundation and other civil works.

The board recommended a special dividend of HK$0.10 per share on Monday.
