Shenzhen Senior Technology Material (SHE:300568) partnered with solid-state battery manufacturer Hytzer Energy to develop solid-state battery components in a cooperation framework deal, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
Both parties will cooperate in developing functional membranes for solid-state batteries, which has better performance compared to commonly used liquid-state batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries.
The Chinese battery components manufacturer did not mention any price or timeline for the development of the battery components.
