Clearway Energy (CWEN) said late Monday it agreed to acquire the Tuolumne wind project from Turlock Irrigation District.
The total long-term commitment to acquire the 137-megawatt project in Washington will be about $70 million to $75 million, according to the company.
Clearway said it will fund the acquisition with current liquidity and expects to close the deal in Q1 2025.
The company said it also agreed to a new 15-year power purchase deal with Turlock Irrigation District with an option to extend.
