Vuzix shares were up 17% to $2 after the company said it received a six-figure revenue production order for customized waveguides to enable a lightweight heads-up display.
Shares of the maker of smart glasses and Augmented Reality technology closed Friday's session up 32%, and are down 6% in the past 12 months.
The Rochester, N.Y., company said this order was received from a U.S.-based company in the global aerospace and defense industry.
