US equity futures were higher pre-bell Monday as traders looked ahead to the minutes from the Federal Reserve's most recent policy-setting meeting as well as a key inflation metric.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.7%, S&P 500 futures increased 0.5%, and Nasdaq futures were up 0.5%.
The Federal Open Market Committee will release the minutes from its latest meeting Tuesday.
The Personal Consumption Expenditures price index, the Fed's preferred measure of inflation, will be released Wednesday.
US stock markets will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving Day holiday, and will also close early at 1 pm ET the following day.
Oil prices were little changed, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude down 0.1% at $74.54 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude down 0.1% at $71.15 per barrel.
The Dallas Federal Reserve's manufacturing business index is scheduled for release at 10:30 AM ET.
