EC Healthcare Books Higher Attributable Profit in Six Months to September

EC Healthcare (HKG:2138) recorded a profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$14.1 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, higher than HK$6.7 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Earnings per share attributable to equity shareholders stood at HK$0.012 for the reporting period, compared with HK$0.006 recorded for the year-ago period.

The non-hospital medical service provider's revenue for the six months under review was HK$2.06 billion, 2.8% lower than HK$2.12 billion booked a year ago.

The board recommended an interim dividend of HK$0.010 per share for the reporting period, as compared with HK$0.005 per share a year earlier.
