Air Europa Owners in Talks With Air France-KLM to Sell Up to 20% Stake, El Economista Reports

-- The Hidalgo family--who owns 80% of Spanish airline Air Europa through its firm Globalia-- has been in talks to sell up to 20% of the airline to Air France-KLM, El Economista reports without citing sources.

-- The amount of the transaction is yet to be determined, although it will be higher than 100 million euros ($104.9 million) , the Spanish newspaper says.

-- The French group would become a sort of industrial partner of Air Europa, opening the door to new alliances with Air France-KLM.
