Yunnan Energy New Material (SHE:002812), through unit Shanghai Enjie New Materials Technology, agreed to supply battery separators to battery maker EVE Energy (SHE:300014) for six years under a new cooperation agreement, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Nov. 22.
Enjie New Materials will supply at least 3 billion square meters of battery separators to EVE between 2025 and 2031, the paper packaging material manufacturer said.
Yunnan Energy New Material's shares jumped less than 4% and EVE's shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
