AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) said recently concluded resource extension drilling at the Jericho and Sandy Creek projects in Queensland yielded "significant" results, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Infill drilling at Jericho, focusing on the Matilda Shoot, yielded results including 1.6% copper and about 0.2 grams per tonne of gold from 200 meters and 2.6% copper and 0.7 grams per tonne of gold from 199 meters, while step-out drilling of the Jericho J2 Lens extended mineralization to the north, the filing said.
Additionally, step-out drilling at Sandy Creek extended mineralization along strike and down plunge, with two holes revealing 2.1% copper and 3.1 grams per tonne of gold from 211.5 meters and 243 meters, respectively, according to the filing.
The company's shares were up almost 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
