US equity futures were cautiously higher pre-bell Friday as traders returned from the Thanksgiving holiday ahead of a shortened trading session on Wall Street.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.3%, S&P 500 futures increased 0.3%, and Nasdaq futures were up 0.2%.
US stock markets will close early at 1 pm ET.
Oil prices were lower, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude up 0.5% at $73.11 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude 0.9% higher at $69.30 per barrel.
