Wholesale of new energy passenger vehicles in China surged 51% year over year to 1.5 million units in November, according to data from China Passenger Car Association.
Chinese automakers led new energy passenger vehicle sales last month, with BYD (SHE:002594, HKG:1211) selling 504,003 units and Geely (HKG:0175) selling 122,453 units.
US carmaker Tesla ranked fifth, logging sales of 78,856 units.
