MW 'Owning Manhattan' reality star Ryan Serhant gives a glimpse into stunning $14 million West Village gem

Serhant called Andy Cohen's home one of the most unique and special properties he's ever listed
Ryan Serhant is no stranger to staggering properties-but even he admitted to being bowled over by his close friend Andy Cohen's "exquisite" New York City "trophy" home.
In a new YouTube video, Serhant called the West Village gem one of the most unique and special properties he's ever listed.
The 40-year-old Serhant CEO and Netflix $(NFLX)$ star recently opened the doors to Cohen's meticulously renovated home. It was listed for $14 million in September.
Cohen, 56, spent 21 years turning the duplex into his personal palace. He decided to bid farewell to the home in order to relocate to a larger West Village dwelling that cost him a staggering $18 million. This new property offered something his former home could not: outdoor space.
However, Cohen will be hard-pressed to find a property that could ever compare to the duplex property he left behind, which is made up of four different apartments that the "Real Housewives" producer bought up and merged together to create one picture-perfect abode.
The listing notes that the four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot West Village wonderland integrates "pre-war character and modern custom luxury finishes." It includes "a nanny's room, an en-suite windowed office and den, two wood burning fireplaces."
The corner unit features 25 windows with spectacular views of the city skyline.
'Built for entertaining'
There are many more quirky and fun details, and Serhant steps in to show them off.
Dressed in his trademark suit with a black T-shirt, Serhant keeps his intro low-key while building up the drama.
There comes a time in a New Yorker's life, he intoned, when you want the "unattainable, that home in that pre-war building that you can't get. You have to wait years, if not decades."
Sitting in the custom-designed residence, which was originally constructed by the developers Bing and Bing in 1931, Serhant recalled the moment he first walked into the home.
"My mouth was agape," he said. "This is that trophy home that never comes to market."
With a built-in bar and multiple entrances, this home is set up for entertaining, Serhant said. But it also works as a "serene family retreat" for Cohen, who is dad to son Benjamin, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2.

Opulent offering
There are some details he wouldn't disclose for privacy reasons, but Serhant spilled plenty of tea over the home's opulent features, including two wood-burning fireplaces, a custom-made staircase, and a primary closet "that will blow your mind."
But Serhant started with the striking gold-tiled wet bar, which holds "more storage for more drinks than you'll know what to do with," along with a sink, ice maker, and fridge.
Adjacent to the bar is the dining area with three huge windows with "unobstructed views."
The real estate mogul then sidled up to a wood-burning fireplace topped with a piece of pop art, which is a focal point of the first floor.
Another highlight of the floor? The kitchen is a "gorgeous creation by Christopher Peacock," Serhant said. The space is lined with navy blue cabinetry, open shelves, and windows.
One fun detail is the main-floor powder room, which Serhant declared his "favorite powder room of all time." The vibrant space is covered in cherry-themed gold wallpaper and has "room for hanging out" along with luxe marble flooring and a separate vanity.

Custom-built staircase
Connect the home's two floors is a custom-designed "architecturally significant" glass and steel staircase.
The landing is topped with a brilliant disco ball and leads to the office, "which could easily be a fourth or fifth en suite bedroom," Serhant noted.
Noting the views from the 14th-floor windows, he said, "It's an amazing sitting area."
This floor also holds the primary suite, along with a separate room that has been turned into a walk-in closet. There's another bedroom and space currently being used as "nanny quarters."
As for the primary bedroom, Serhant pointed out the "felt wallpaper" and wood-burning fireplace. A light-hearted touch is a leather Snoopy doll that decorates the bed.
"The light is incredible, the millwork is incredible, and you have speakers throughout," he said. It all adds up to a "homey feel."

The luxe primary bath offers "wall-to-wall marble," a "humongous" shower and a teak soaking tub, dual vanities, along with teal and gray tile on the walls.
"It is exquisite, maybe one of my favorite primary bathrooms of all time," Serhant said.
Stepping back onto the stairs, he added, "Nothing has been overlooked in this home. This is that iconic New York City trophy property that is unattainable. Until now."

The jaw-dropping pre-war residence comes with another unbelievable perk-it's available furnished.
Residents also enjoy a home that overlooks Jackson Square Park and comes with 24/7 door attendants, a live-in super, and "top-notch" amenities, the listing notes.
