Spire Global Promotes COO Theresa Condor to CEO Role

Spire Global (SPIR) said Tuesday that Chief Operating Officer Theresa Condor will assume the role of chief executive on Jan. 1.

Founder and current CEO Peter Platzer will become executive chairman, the company said.

Former Airbus executive Celia Pelaz is expected to succeed Condor in the COO role, effective Jan. 6, Spire said.

Additionally, Gabriel Oehme was appointed as chief transformation officer, also effective Jan. 6. Oehme was previously chief commercial officer at Aerotech Peissenberg.
