Redwire (RDW) said Monday it has opened a regional office in Warsaw, Poland, to enhance its European operations and support global space solutions.
The company said the new facility will focus on designing, assembling, and testing the International Berthing and Docking Mechanism, critical for autonomous spacecraft docking at the Gateway lunar space station.
It added that the office will also foster partnerships with Polish universities and institutions for microgravity research on the International Space Station.
Marcin Dobrowolski, with over a decade of aerospace experience, has been appointed General Manager to lead the Warsaw office and recruit local talent, the company said.
