Huntington Ingalls Industries Signs Deal to Acquire W International, Vivid Empire

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) said Wednesday it has struck a deal to acquire all of the assets of metal fabricator W International and Vivid Empire.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Upon deal completion, which is expected in Q4, Huntington said the production site in Goose Creek, South Carolina, will operate within its Newport News Shipbuilding division and focus on nuclear-powered submarine and aircraft carrier modules and structures for the US Navy.
