Chinese retailer and e-commerce firm Alibaba Group (HKG:9988) invested 100 billion won in South Korea-based unicorn company Ably, a fashion platform operator, Pulse News reported Monday.

The Chinese giant secured a 5% stake in Ably via the investment, according to the report.

Ably, valued at over 3 trillion won, is South Korea's first unicorn since Naver's (KRX:035420) trading platform Kream launched in December 2023, the report said.
