STMicroelectronics (STM) has secured a multi-year deal with Renault Group's electric vehicle unit, Ampere, for the supply of silicon carbide power modules starting in 2026, the companies said Tuesday.
STMicroelectronics and Ampere have collaborated on the optimization of the power module for Ampere's new generation of electric motors, they said.
