Health care stocks were edging higher premarket Friday as the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) advanced by 0.4% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) was up 0.2% recently.
Veeva Systems (VEEV) shares rose by over 7% after the company reported an increase in fiscal Q3 earnings and sales while lifting its guidance for fiscal 2025.
Innate Pharma (IPHA) shares were up more than 8% after the company and the Institute for Follicular Lymphoma said they have agreed to study the potential of the company's IPH6501 experimental therapy in follicular lymphoma, a type of blood cancer.
Cooper (COO) shares fell past 4% after the company issued fiscal 2025 guidance that fell short of market expectations.
