Ulta Beauty Posts Upbeat Results, Joins Asana, Lululemon, Hewlett Packard Enterprise And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining more than 100 points on Friday.

Shares of Ulta Beauty, Inc. (NASDAQ:ULTA) rose sharply during Friday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its FY24 outlook.

Ulta Beauty reported quarterly earnings of $5.14 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.54. Quarterly revenue came in at $2.53 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.5 billion and is an increase over sales of $2.49 billion from the same period last year.

Also, Telsey Advisory Group maintained an Outperform rating on the stock and raised its price target from $450 to $500.

Ulta Beauty shares jumped 10.4% to $433.76 on Friday.

  • Rubrik, Inc. (NYSE:RBRK) gained 33.3% to $71.54 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued fourth-quarter revenue guidance above estimates. Also, Keybanc maintained an Overweight rating on the stock and raised its price target from $57 to $75.
  • Nano-X Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ:NNOX) surged 29.5% to $8.08. Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Ross Osborn maintained Nano X Imaging with an Overweight and raised the price target from $11 to $12.
  • D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE:QBTS) gained 28.6% to $4.8465.
  • Rigetti Computing, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGTI) surged 25.9% to $4.0050.
  • DocuSign, Inc. (NASDAQ:DOCU) gained 25.2% to $104.79 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued FY25 revenue guidance above estimates.
  • Serve Robotics Inc. (NASDAQ:SERV) climbed 21.5% to $11.58.
  • Canaan Inc. (NASDAQ:CAN) gained 20.8% to $2.72 after Rosenblatt maintained a Buy rating on the stock and raised its price target from $3 to $4.
  • Recursion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:RXRX) gained 19.8% to $7.90.
  • Lululemon Athletica Inc. (NASDAQ:LULU) rose 18.2% to $407.50 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
  • Hut 8 Corp. (NASDAQ:HUT) gained 15% to $31.77 after the company provided operational updates for November 2024. The company produced 94 BTC for a total of 9,122 on its balance sheet.
  • Aurora Innovation, Inc. (NASDAQ:AUR) surged 14.7% to $7.94.
  • Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (NYSE:HPE) rose 10.8% to $24.00 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
  • AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASTS) gained 10.8% to $24.96.
  • Veeva Systems Inc. (NYSE:VEEV) gained 10.3% to $255.60 after the company reported a year-over-year increase in third-quarter financial results. Also, Piper Sandler and Needham raised their respective price targets on the stock.
  • Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO) jumped 9% to $46.91 following third-quarter results.
  • Wayfair Inc. (NYSE:W) gained 8.7% to $53.62.
  • AppLovin Corporation (NASDAQ:APP) gained 7.7% to $408.34 after Macquarie maintained an Outperform rating on the stock and raised its price target from $270 to $450.
