American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) shares retreated more than 13% in recent trading Thursday, a day after reporting that its earnings and revenue fell year over year in fiscal Q3.
J.P. Morgan also downgraded its stock on Thursday to neutral from overweight and cut the price target to $23 from $27.
Trading volume stood at 11.8 million shares, against a daily average of about 4.3 million.
