Intel Appoints Eric Meurice, Steve Sanghi to Board

Intel (INTC) said Thursday that former ASML (ASML) chief executive officer Eric Meurice and Steve Sanghi, the current interim CEO of Microchip Technology (MCHP), will join its board as independent directors, effective immediately.

Meurice was the CEO of ASML from 2004 to 2013.

Sanghi currently serves as chair of Microchip Technology's board in addition to his interim CEO role, having previously led the company as CEO from 1991 to 2021.
