Silex Systems (ASX:SLX) licensee Global Laser Enrichment's selection as an awardee for the low-enriched uranium contract by the US Department of Energy is validation ahead of the company's target to achieve the technology readiness level six (TRL-6) milestone, Euroz Hartleys said in a note Wednesday.

Silex Systems and Global Laser Enrichment have constructed, integrated, and commissioned full-scale pilot equipment to complete TRL-6 of Silex's laser-based uranium enrichment technology by the end of 2024.
