Redwire (RDW) said Tuesday it has won a five-year contract worth approximately $45.5 million from the US Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate.
The contract involves work on advanced spacecraft technologies, including large structures, thermal management, payload systems and improved testing methods for national security purposes, the company said.
Redwire will work from Albuquerque, New Mexico, building on a previous contract to develop space technologies from initial concepts to complete prototypes, it added.
The company's shares were up about 1.3% in recent trading.
