Financial stocks were edging higher premarket Wednesday, with The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) up 0.4%.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 1.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.2% lower.
Bread Financial Holdings (BFH) shares were up over 1% after the company reported a November delinquency rate of 6.2%, down from 6.5% a year earlier.
Synovus Financial (SNV) stock was over 1% higher after the company said it expects adjusted Q4 revenue of between $565 million to $575 million while anticipating a 2% decline in full-year revenue.
Gladstone Investment (GAIN) shares were nearly 2% lower after the company priced a public offering of $110 million worth of 7.875% notes due 2030.
