Archer Daniels Midland's board has approved the purchase of an additional 100 million shares as part of the grain trader's stock-buyback program.
ADM on Wednesday said the board also extended the program through the end of 2029, adding that there are now about 114.8 million shares available for repurchase.
The Chicago company currently has more than 478 million shares outstanding and sports a market capitalization of nearly $25 billion.
