Willscot Holdings is pulling a new chief financial officer from its ranks as its longtime finance chief takes on the newly created role of chief operating officer.

The portable-building company said Wednesday that President Tim Boswell is now leading operations and handing the role of CFO off to Matt Jacobsen, currently a senior vice president of finance.

Boswell has served as CFO since November 2017 and as company president--a position he still holds--since September 2021.

Jacobsen joined the company in November 2010 and has served in various finance and accounting roles.
