Market Chatter: Shinhan Financial Group Restructures Leadership

Shinhan Financial Group (KRX:055550) reshuffled its leadership, replacing nine of 13 subsidiary heads whose terms expired, and appointing five new chief executive officers promoted from department roles, Pulse News reported Friday.

Park Chang-hun became the CEO of Shinhan Card, replacing Moon Dong-kwon, and Vice President Lee Sun-hoon stepped up as CEO of Shinhan Securities. Shinhan Bank President Jung Sang-hyuk was reappointed, alongside insurance leaders Lee Young-jong and Kang Byung-kwan, the report said.

Shares of Shinhan Financial Group fell more than 1% at market close on Monday.
