Russia's military suppliers have been engaging in a "surprisingly simple" process to acquire components from Texas Instruments (TXN), unbeknownst to the US chipmaker and against trade restrictions, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a cache of records it obtained.
"Some Russian distributors have integrated information from Texas Instruments' online shop, TI store, onto their sales platforms, allowing clients to see semiconductor inventory and pricing before they place requests," Bloomberg reported, citing documents it saw and government officials familiar with the matter.
Texas Instruments did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
