New York Times (NYT) has reached a tentative labor deal with its tech workers represented by the Times Tech Guild, The NewsGuild of New York said Wednesday.

The guild said the fresh three-year deal, which comes just over a month after its members held a strike, includes "just cause" protections, provisions for guaranteed raises of up to 8.25%, and guardrails on remote-work status.

Union members are set to ratify the contract on Dec. 19.

"We're pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with the Tech Guild," a New York Times spokesperson told MT Newswires.
