BEIJING, Dec 12 (Reuters) - China's ruling Communist Party expelled Citic Group's former vice general manager Xu Zuo, dismissing the official from public posts for severe violations of law and discipline, state broadcaster CCTV said on Thursday.

The antigraft watchdog found Xu took a significant amount of bribes and abused power to seek benefits for others, the broadcaster added.
