Trek 2000 Chairman Faces Fraud Allegations from OSIM International

MT Newswires2024-12-12

Trek 2000 International (SGX:5AB) said Executive Chairman Wayne Tan and former chairman Henn Tan have been accused of fraud and unfair treatment in a legal letter from OSIM International and its founder Ron Sim Chye Hock over a 2015 share purchase, according to a Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

Sim is currently a minority shareholder in Trek 2000, while OSIM International is a former shareholder, the filing said.

The board dismissed the claims as baseless and affirmed Tan's continued suitability for his role. Trek 2000 clarified it is not involved in the legal matter.
