Benitec Biopharma appointed Sophie Mukadam as its chief operating officer and named executive director Megan Boston to its chief financial officer role.
Mukadam will take the post effective Jan. 1 and will receive a base salary of $500,000 and a target annual bonus of 40% of her base salary, according to a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mukadam has been serving as Benitec's associate director of program management, starting in May 2021. Before joining the company, she worked as a regulatory consultant. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Boston was appointed chief financial officer effective Jan. 1. She was also confirmed as the company's secretary. Boston will continue serving as the principal financial officer and principal accounting officer.
Boston is set to receive $415,000 in annual salary, with a target annual discretionary bonus of 40% of that salary. She has been granted nonqualified stock options to purchase 720,000 shares, according to a filing. The options were granted at an exercise price of $12.18 per share.
