Morgan Stanley (MS) is nearing a deal to buy about 900 million euros ($945 million) in Spanish mortgages from Banco Santander (SAN), Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The banks are finalizing the terms of the sale, the people reportedly said.
