WISeKey International Holding (WKEY) confirmed on Friday that its subsidiary WISeSat.Space's upcoming launch of "post-quantum-ready" satellites in partnership with SpaceX is scheduled for Jan. 14 from California.

Shares of WISeKey surged 88% as intraday trading volume soared to over 43.6 million from a daily average of about 207,000.

Loop Industries (LOOP) said late Thursday that it secured 10 million euros ($10.5 million) through a convertible preferred security financing with Reed Societe Generale Group, an investment firm majority-owned by Societe Generale.

Shares of Loop advanced 39% as intraday trading volume catapulted to more than 76.3 million from a daily average of about 38,000.

Morgan Stanley said Broadcom (AVGO) continues to be "one of the most compelling ways" to play AI semiconductors over the next two to three years.

The investment bank boosted the chip manufacturer's price target to $233 from $180 and maintained its overweight rating, following the company's fiscal Q4 results.

Broadcom shares jumped 20%, with intraday trading volume at over 71.8 million compared with a daily average of roughly 22.1 million.
