Veritone (VERI) said Thursday it signed a new multiyear licensing agreement with CBS News and Stations that also expands their partnership to include exclusive local news content from CBS-owned stations.
The contract covers the use of Veritone's aiWARE enterprise artificial intelligence-powered platform by Paramount Global-owned (PARA) CBS to enhance access to its licensed content across numerous distribution channels.
Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Shares of Veritone were down 2.4% in recent trading.
