Such decisions reflect the priorities of the company.\nThus, the core of our bearish thesis is the fact that NexGen’s spending strategy is inconsistent with the company’s stage of development. With soaring costs, puzzling marketing moves, and big financing needs still on the horizon, NXE isn’t making the kind of financial choices that inspire confidence. For now, we’re staying on the sidelines.\nNexGen Energy does not rank on our latest list of the 31 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds. As per our database, 32 hedge fund portfolios held NXE at the end of the second quarter which was 33 in the previous quarter. While we acknowledge the potential of NXE as a leading AI investment, our conviction lies in the belief that some AI stocks hold greater promise for delivering higher returns, and doing so within a shorter timeframe.
