Major digital assets were mostly firmer late Friday with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) advancing toward $102,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks 126 digital assets, edged up 0.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.1% late Friday, while the S&P 500 little changed and the Dow Jones Industrial Average eased 0.2%.
Bitcoin rose 1.5% to $101,726 with a 24-hour trading volume of $59.3 billion, down 19%, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular digital currently was on track to end the week little changed.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, was 0.7% higher at $3,915, while dropping more than 3% this week.
XRP (XRP-USD) gained 1.9%, while Solana (SOL-USD) shed 2.3%.
BNB (BNB-USD) added 2.5%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 1.3% and Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) dropped 1%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield closed at 4.397%, up from Thursday's close of 4.324%, while the five-year yield rose to 4.246% from 4.176%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry increased 1.1% in the past 24 hours to $3.65 trillion. Total trading volume fell 16% to $178.22 billion.
