Lamborghini Delays Launch of First EV to 2029, Reuters Says, Citing CEO

--Lamborghini plans to launch its first electric model only in 2029, as the luxury sports car market isn't ready for full electrification, Reuters reports, citing Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann.

--The Italian luxury car maker, owned by Germany's Volkswagen, had previously said its first EV was due in 2028, according to Reuters.

--Lamborghini is also awaiting a clearer regulatory outlook in the European Union, as the bloc is expected to review the ban on the sale of new internal combustion engine cars from 2035, Reuters reports.
