China is planning to set up an artificial intelligence standardization committee focusing on large language models and AI risk assessment, Reuters reported Friday.
The push comes amid intensifying global competition in the sector, according to the report.
The committee has 41 members, including representatives from Baidu (HKG:9888) and leading academic institutions such as Peking University, Reuters wrote.
