Lotte Chemical Titan (KLSE:LCTITAN) temporarily shut down its Naphtha Cracker Number 1, with a nameplate annual capacity of 430,000 metric tonnes, on Sunday, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.
The company attributed the move to a prolonged downturn in the petrochemical industry, leading to negative margins faced by the company over the last two years.
