China Southern Airlines' Passenger Capacity Up 7% in November

China Southern Airlines' (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) passenger capacity increased 7.18% in November from a year prior, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

International passenger capacity climbed 39.02%, while domestic and regional passenger capacity saw a 0.81% and 0.73% year-on-year decline, respectively.

Passenger traffic rose by 15.17%, with domestic and international passenger traffic increasing by 5.44% and 55.85%, respectively. The passenger load factor was nearly 85% in November, a 5.88 percentage point boost from the previous corresponding period.

Cargo capacity increased 1.98% yearly, with cargo and mail traffic rising nearly 6.7%. The cargo and mail load factor stood at nearly 55.74%, up 2.96 percentage points from a year prior.
