Amentum Says it Receives $279 Million US Air Force Contract for Aviation Operations Services

Amentum Holdings (AMTM) said Thursday it has received a $279 million US Air Force contract for aviation operations services throughout the Ninth Air Force.

As part of the contract, the company will provide services for airfield management, air traffic control, and critical maintenance services, it said, adding that it will also deliver services to military installations across Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.

The award has a one-year base term and six one-year option periods, extending the performance period through October 2031, Amentum said.

Shares of the company were down over 4% in recent Thursday trading.
